Many months ago, Or maybe a year to be exact. I had indifferent feelings about the the 3rd season. I never saw the Japanese version yet. But I knew something was strange when I noticed the voices suck(maybe it wasn't such a good idea of CN to place the New VA episodes after the Ocean Group ones), the Musiced sucked, and I noticed something strange about the dialogue. There was a lot of crap. This dialouge is probaly what made the battle between Goku and Freeza look like it was dragging on.

In spring of 2000, I saw Gundam Wing hit the airwaves, and I was IMPRESSED! Awesome Voice-acting(I didn't know who they were yet). An incredible story tht went all over the place, with excellent dialogue, and an epic soundtrack. After the greatness of this show, I stopped caring about DBZ for awhile. I went around proclaiming that Gundam was superior to DBZ. Nobody's brainwashed ass listened to me, but I didn't care. This was how anime should be dubbed.

Then I got a DVD player. I got some Bruce Lee movies, Gundam Wing Operation 1, Ninja Scroll, and World's Strongest. After seeing how good World's Strongest was, I slowly strated getting back into DBZ. I went back to the websites where everyone complained about how FUNimation sucks, and I heard about the Captain Ginyu DVDs. I heard Gen Fukunaga say they were gonna be UNCUT, so I was hoping for better dialogue, like a redub. I got the DVDs, and noticed it was the same as on TV. For Shame FUNimation, you have lied to me.

The next day, I was kinda intrigued to see what the Japanese version had to offer. I never seen it before, other than a couple Video Clips(Gohan going SSJ2!!), so I was curious. Man, it was different! It had a whole sort of different atomosphere! I thought the music was pretty cool! The story sort have had an epic-ness to it. I epecially liked the way Son Goku's voice was. How dare Sean Schemmel compare himself to her! I saw Dragonball Z in a different way, probaly the way most of you see it.

I was a DBZ fan again. But of the Japanese version. I only watch the DVDs in Japanese, because I don't even care care for the U.S. version. Not even the Ocean Group version(save for Scott McNeil, you rule!) . Could this be the end of U.S. DBZ in my eyes? Well maybe. I felt there was still hope. That something could be done. There was a second big Petition. The one for a redub. I don’t think it would work, FUNimation doesn’t care about us. Even if they did redub the 3rd and 4th seasons, would they do it right a second time? No. FUNimation has been known to let the real fans down time and time again.

I did get depressed again after seeing how bad Season 4 came. Same crappy music, same crappy Voice acting. I made it Mandatory to detect bad dialogue(much like everyone is doing). I bought the Trunks DVDs, they were proclaimed the best thing FUNimation did for us. They might have been right, but after seeing the power of the Gundam Wing and Cowboy Bebop DVDs, that there was still room for improvement lots of it. Trust me when I say 3 episode DVDs with crusty artwork will not catch the eye of many people.

I’ve heard people still complain. The new petition seemed to lack a lot of support it SHOULD have got. I had enough. Things will be done MY WAY! So here’s the website, the petition will be up soon, go to the polls and vote, supporting me by linking to it, blah blah blah. Now we’ve reached the present. What will the future hold? It seems it could be to late for the other Petition, but all hope should not be lost. Giving up never gets our way? We must be strong! Stand up for your beliefs!

Moral of the Story: FUNiamtion sucks. And doing Pushups and Situps won't let you go beyond the level of Super Saiyan. Forget about drinking plenty of Juice. Now how's that for a 401K?! Whatever turns you on, Big Boy! Now that's MONDO COOL! No, it's HARDCORE!
